Peace Corps Volunteers respond to various needs that impact developing nations.  Peace Corps has continued to develop a strong partnership with the people around the world Volunteers currently work in the areas of education, health and HIV/AIDS, business development, youth development, agriculture, and the environment.

When prospective Volunteers share their plans to apply to the Peace Corps, their family and friends often react with enthusiasm, support—even admiration (or do they?).  Parents, siblings, and friends are the support group that we do not often get a chance to hear from so come out on November 26th and hear from friends and family of Peace Corps volunteers.  Come talk to returned volunteers who have served in Africa, Latin America and other parts of the world and learn about their experience before, during and after the Peace Corps.

Also at the event:

  • Great opportunity to reconnect with the RPCV community and learn more about the new Southern Association of Black Peace Corps Volunteers (SAB PCV)
  • Help Peace Corps Diversity Initiative by attending and talking to prospective minority applicants from the Atlanta University Center and surrounding area.
  • Great opportunity to Network with other RPCVs, Peace Corps Supporters, applicants and potential applicants and their families.

Bring your friends/family and your questions!

Come early to mingle with RPCVs. Refreshments starts at 5:30pm
