What: A Peace Corps Diversity Panel Discussion:
Friends and Family talk about their role in supporting Peace Corps Volunteers.

Why: Learn more about the Peace Corps and listen to a few Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) and friends and family members of RPCVs talk about the Peace Corps experience and their perspective. Come listen to friends and family talk about how they showed support for those who joined Peace Corps.
Light refreshments will be served.
Peace Corps Volunteers respond to various needs that impact developing nations. Peace Corps has continued to develop a strong partnership with the people around the world Volunteers currently work in the areas of education, health and HIV/AIDS, business development, youth development, agriculture, and the environment.
When prospective Volunteers share their plans to apply to the Peace Corps, their family and friends often react with enthusiasm, support—even admiration (or do they?). Parents, siblings, and friends are the support group that we do not often get a chance to hear from so come out on November 26th and hear from friends and family of Peace Corps volunteers. Come talk to returned volunteers who have served in Africa, Latin America and other parts of the world and learn about their experience before, during and after the Peace Corps.
